I'm the founder of Talus Law, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and I provide all of the firm's legal services.

I spent ten years (2014–2024) as counsel in the civil law section of the federal Department of Justice in Vancouver, appearing at the BC Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court, BC Court of Appeal, Federal Court, and Federal Court of Appeal.

My experience spans environmental, public, human rights, public safety, administrative, personal injury, conflicts, constitutional, and class action matters. I've led and managed large teams, worked across counsel teams on complex multi-party files, and handled sensitive and classified matters before the court.

I hold a BA from the University of Pennsylvania (2008), a JD from Dalhousie University (2013), and an LLM from Osgoode Hall, York University (2019). I clerked for two justices of the BC Court of Appeal and was called to the BC bar in 2015.

I'm a member of the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates' Society, and was recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada™ as a “One to Watch” for Environmental Law in 2026 and 2027.
