Talus Law is located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Michele Charles provides all legal services for Talus Law.

Michele has experience in diverse areas of law, including environmental, public, human rights, public safety, administrative, personal injury, conflicts, constitutional, and class actions. In addition, Michele has experience leading and managing large teams, collaborating across counsel teams on complex multi-party matters, and navigating the intricacies of sensitive and classified matters before the court.

Michele spent over ten years (2014-2024) with the Federal Department of Justice in Vancouver. As counsel with the Department of Justice, Michele practiced in the civil law section and appeared at the British Columbia Provincial Court, British Columbia Supreme Court, British Columbia Court of Appeal, Federal Court, and Federal Court of Appeal.

Michele holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania (2008), a JD from Dalhousie University (2013), and an LLM from Osgoode Hall, York University (2019). Michele was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2015 after clerking for two justices of the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
